Upper Canada Golf Course

About
Aultsville Creek runs alongside Upper Canada Golf Course, adding to the already scenic setting. It's located just across Highway 2 from the St. Lawrence River. Built in the early 1960s, the course has a classic design that still offers challenges that rival those that can be found on more modern courses. The golf course measures just over 6,900 yards from the back tees. There are four tees total and they are diverse enough for players of any skill level to play to their ability. Tall evergreens line the fairways and they also border the numerous ponds and wetlands that are scattered throughout the golf course. Strategically placed bunkers complement the natural hazards, adding a striking contrast to the lush greens. Upper Canada's 12th through 16th holes are a challenging stretch of holes that play right along the creek.

Fall Golf
One final round as today was the last day of the season. Course was still in great condition
Unfortunate timing
We really enjoy this course, unfortunately they were punching the greens on the front nine so we played the back twice.
Always a test
It’s Upper Canada, if you know you know. If you don’t know, be prepared for a challenge, not unenjoyable but a good challenge. Greens are always smooth, quick and well protected. Sand traps have been vastly improved compared to recent years, I could never understand why this course had great conditions but no sand in the traps. If you had played in the past and were frustrated with the Canada geese issues, that’s no longer a thing.
Course needs some work
Pace of play was extremely slow, there were no Marshall’s, There was a group of 5 playing ahead.
Our cart had problems starting intermittently. I have played this course when it was in much better shape.
I've played Upper Canada for 30 years and this was this was the ABSOLUTE best condition I've see n the course by a mile. manicured to perfection and greens were quite simply PERFECT and FAST.
Top marks all the way around :)
Well conditioned
Best day of the year, no wind and warm. Greens were rolling some tricky pins for those short knock-ins. Restaurant was friendly, staff great. Working hard.
Thanks.
