Fun rounds
Great course for beginners! Excellent location, great staff. Par 3, executive course, inexpensive. Played 4 rounds of 9 in 2 days. Definitely will play Poco Diablo again!
Desert paradise
My wife and I are full time RVers. We are former members of an exclusive country club course in Reno, NV. We play golf at courses all over the western US. We are mid-handicappers; we strive to improve, but our main goal is to have a fun walk without too much agony and fuss.
This is a lush large resort courtyard park in Sedona. The grounds are well maintained. There are numerous ponds/water hazards, and many trees. The greens were bumpy, but this is to be expected. If you are looking for pristine greens, then play elsewhere.
This is a fun par 27 executive track. We enjoyed the ambiance and sanctuary setting. It was peaceful. A great way to spend a few hours playing the game.
Bad. But not as bad as all the reviews suggest.
So reading the reviews of the place I was skeptical. But already booked it so it was what is was. Staff was friendly allowed us to play the course over and over again as long as we wanted. Greens are in awful condition. Duck droppings EVERYWHERE like for real EVERYWHERE. Longest whole about 115 yards shortest 60. But for me, my brother, and my dad all being fairly new to golf our 40 yard line drives rolled to the middle of the fairway/green definitely a confidence booster. Views around the course are what you’d want from a Sedona course beautiful red rock can be seen on almost every hole. I would play again but wouldn’t go out of my way to do so.
Playing Bog
The course was like playing in a bog. It was extremely wet. Hitting the ball on the green would plug the ball into the green. The greens were sponge and bouncy. I would not recommend this course.
Compact Executive Course
Its an nice 9 hole course within a five acre area. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Staff loaned me a golf bag foe free. A nice course.
Small Executive Course
This course is set in a courtyard setting of about 5 acres surrounded by residential units. The holes were poorly labeled as I wandered around the course looking for the next tee. Greens are not well maintained and grass infrequently cut. Two large ponds are located near the center of the course and The pond was drained. I would not recommend the course. Push carts and drivable carts not available. Staff was very friendly.
Clueless
Just a joke, first couldn'tfind course no signage, then lady at counter was Clueless. Cant fix divots on tee boxes if they arent there. Lol greens were soaked sponges
Very SHORT EXECUTIVE TYPE PAR 3 course. Greens haven’t been mowed, t boxes not groomed, ball washers empty and course covered in duck feces 9 holes .
9 VERY SHORT HOLES shortest 53 yds longest 105. Serious golfers NO. FAMILY WITH LITTLE GOLFERS PERFECT. Course, greens and boxes haven’t been mowed/groomed
Serious golfers..no
Shortest hole 56 yds. Longest 115
Family with li’l golfers only
No mowing, no t box and green sculpting
No fairway maintence
Not real golf...
Keep it simple..I'd rather go to the driving range than play there again. Nothing but wet and muddy and it had not rained in recent days. The ridge on Sedona golf courses driving range is a better option for the money.
This isn’t a golf course
This isn’t a golf course it’s an oversized mini putt. In reality this should not be advertised on GolfNow. It’s more of an attraction or a place to take the kids when you have nothing to do. We were looking for a quick 9 holes, found this open and i didn’t do enough research before so my fault but seriously how can someone advertise something as a golf course that is only 777 yards. (Yes that is right).
Anyway caveat emptor. You are warned. Greens were soft and hadn’t been rolled in forever. Golf holes were literally overgrown.
Fine for short game practice.
We didn't have clubs with us. We rented a bag with 4 clubs for $5. One friend had never golfed. This course was perfect because it wasn't crowded at 10:00 and is 9holes. She hit 4 balls on each hole. The course is well cared for. There is a small lake to hit over.
Short & Beautiful
Besides the Golf, the Spa and lodging are 1st Class.
Pitch and Putt!
This is a very short pitch and putt course; I think the longest hole is about 120 yards, and a few are in the 70 yard range. But it's a fun course and pretty well maintained. Nice views all around and some ducks and deers and critters to keep you company.
