The Bridges Golf Club

About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Very Beautiful and challenging with large hazards and Great Fun
Super friendly Staff and just a great afternoon in Gunter USA 🇺🇸
Above average
Decent course, friendly staff, helps to know layout of course which means I need to play it more. Maybe some distance markers in the fairways would help out a bit. Lots of golfers out for a Tuesday but pace of play was on target
Good Course
First time playing and I'll definitely be back. Challenging enough but not too difficult for the typical 90'e golfer. The greens are fast, but soft so you can actually stop a ball with a wedge or short iron. Fairways are not wide open, but the rough will not kill your score. Multiple holes that require layups so it will test your course management.
Nice Links course
Greens were in great shape and very fast. A few thin areas around the green and in the fairways but not bad. The course will be great in a month once it gets green again.
No longer worth the $$ to play
I have played this course weekly for the last few years since it was so close but today was the last time for me. While I know it is still winter conditions and they didn’t over seed anything but the practice area they are still charging premium prices. It cost $202 for two of plus range balls. Tee boxes were all dirt on a majority of them, fairways were hard pan lies, pace of play was almost a 5 hour round. Greens were in ok condition but it seemed like several of the pin locations haven’t been moved in quite some time. The holes and 5-10’ around them were beat up pretty badly. Tried using one of the ball washers on the back nine and it literaly came apart in my hands. For almost $100 a round, 5 hour rounds, and less than friendly desk personal we are going to find a new course to play weekly.
Pretty Good
Nice course, out of the way though. The wind is tough here, making every shot more difficult. Nice layout, some holes are gettable even with wind. Greens are nice, though sometimes the pin placements are diabolical. Overall good experience.
Great Value
Amazing track. We played with very difficult conditions (windy, chilly, from the tips) so it was a beast foa course but we love the challenge
For February, course in good shape
Tee times were all messed up due to HS tournament, so started 30 mins late and took 5+ hours on a MONDAY! :-(
But course was in good shape for February!
Great Winter Course
Course was in great shape for winter. Greens rolled true and fast. Greens were not dormant and receptive. Fairways were not fully dormant and some winter overseen starting to green up.
Most bunkers were playable after a week and a half of rain. A couple (6-7 bunkers total) still had water and were marked accordingly on course.
Great place to play with 4hour or less round to be had.
