Separate junior and ladies long-drive contests are being held each morning and afternoon of the show by La Jolla, with winners of the morning and afternoon contests each day receiving new Junior or Ladies Titanium drivers. The grand prize winner per category each day will win a complete set of Junior or Ladies clubs.
Morning contests are taking place from 8:30 a.m. to noon, through Sunday, with the afternoon contests will taking place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. through Saturday.
La Jolla Club will be displaying its new Knife Junior Sets, Super Flex Junior and Teen Sets, and Lady Accent Elite clubs at booth 3125 and at its hospitality suite in room M303A.
Golfotron, which will be on display in booth 6541 at the PGA Merchandise Show, is a modular golf simulator powered by Sports-Coach Systems. Based on the new GPS 3D CustomPlay Program, the simulator has several features including a flyover of the holes being played.
While a camera located behind the ball shows the ball traveling down the fairway, real 3three-dimensional rendering graphics make the golf course appear even more realistic.
La Jolla Club Golf Company, a Vista, Calif.-based golf equipment company, designs, manufactures and markets premium juniors and ladies golf clubs including Super Flex Junior and Teen Sets, Knife Junior Sets, Snoopy 1st Real Clubs and Lady Accent Elite golf clubs.
