WorldGolf.com's new design, editor, attitude
WorldGolf.com, the longest-running golf site on the Internet, has unveiled a new design, as well as a new editor and attitude.
The new design features daily updated golf content, with top destinations such as Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Palm Springs and Florida highlighted. The easy-to-navigate design will give readers access to WorldGolf.com's huge archive of golf stories, as well as new stories added daily on everything from golf tips and instruction to course reviews, feature stories, blogs and commentary.
Taking over the reins as editor of WorldGolf.com is William K. Wolfrum. A long-time journalist who has worked at such daily newspapers as the San Bernardino County Sun and the Riverside Press-Enterprise, Wolfrum brings a wealth of experience to the position.
"WorldGolf.com is one of the most important names on the Internet golf scene," said Wolfrum, 39. "By re-energizing the site and adding a wide variety of new content, I believe our readers will have a site they'll want to visit all the time for new information on all aspects of golf."
Wolfrum also added that he believes WorldGolf.com readers will have a great forum to speak their mind on golf courses around the world, as the new WorldGolf.com design makes it easier than ever for readers to give their opinions.
"At WorldGolf.com, we want readers to help readers," he said. "If a reader plays a course and wants to let people know his opinion, we want to share that. We want our readers to have as much information on a golf course or golf destination as possible."
The new WorldGolf.com features podcasts such as the popular Golf for Beginners podcast, as well as blogs from an expanding roster of writers such as Clive Agran, Spencer Hux and Dot Wong.
As always, WorldGolf.com welcomes your comments.
