Masters of the Millenium

A Three Part Excerpt from the book by Robert Hartman

Four young boys named Justin, Phil, David and Eldrick learned the game as they learned how to walk.

They had golf clubs in their hands at very young ages, playing in the garage, the backyard and local par-three courses. In the 1970s and 1980s they learned how to compete locally and nationally in a playground known as junior golf. As we enter the new millenium, this is the foursome that is shaping the game. Their last names are fixtures on leaderboards. They have fearless attitudes about scoring, and their games are setting the pace on the world's toughest courses.

They grew up in junior golf and now are growing in an entirely different arena - the PGA TOUR.

So, move over Arnie, Jack and Lee. Step aside Greg, Tom and Nick. Justin Leonard, Tiger Woods, David Duval are the golfers many expect to dominate the sport in the millenium.
